There are various certifications throughout the world to protect cocoa farmers and the environment and to supply sustainable cocoa. For example, the International Fairtrade Certification aims to promote sustainable development of small-scale manufacturers and laborers in developing countries, and the Rainforest Alliance’s certification program aims to create a better future for people and nature.
Group companies in the Fuji Oil Group that have acquired the Fairtrade Certification Mark produce and sell products with Fairtrade certified raw materials in response to customer requests. In addition, many of our group companies comply with the supply chain requirements of the Rainforest Alliance's Sustainable Agriculture Standard, and will continue to address customer demand to achieve cocoa procurement with greater responsibility.
