FUJI OIL HOLDINGS
The Tokyo Branch Office is to become the Tokyo Regional Office on January 1, 2007 and move to a new location

We will upgrade our Tokyo Branch Office in Shibadaimon, Minato-ku to the Tokyo Regional Office on January 1, 2007 and start operations on January 4 in a new location.
Since opening the Tokyo Office in 1954, we have established our presence in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area through; upgrading the Tokyo Office to a Branch Office in 1962; opening the Tsukuba Research and Development Center in 1990; starting operations at the Kanto Cream Plant in 1994; starting operations at the Kanto Chocolate Plant and Protein Foods Tsukuba Plant in 2001; establishing the CHIBA VEGOIL TANK TERMINAL CO.,LTD. in 2005; and starting operations at the Chiba Plant in 2006. Thus we have mostly completed the development of our bases in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, and the Tokyo Regional Office will play a pivotal role in networking these facilities.
In the marketing of our products, which are used in various food business areas, innovative new proposals to our users ("proactive sales") are the main feature of our sales approach, and until now have been based in the FUJI SUNNY PLAZA of the Tokyo Branch Office. In the new Regional Office, we will establish a plaza with a larger floor area and enhanced functions and locate it on the first floor so that it is more open and accessible.
Our Sales Headquarters in the Tokyo Branch Office will also move to the new Tokyo Regional Office in order to manage our sales activities throughout Japan. In the future, through its strengthened organization and increased functions, the Headquarters, along with the Hannan Business Operations Complex, will serve as the hub of the Fuji Oil Group's global operations.
