Two items entered by Fuji Oil Co., Ltd., recently received awards in Mom’s Love Grand-Prix 2015 in the “FOODEX Gourmet Beauty Grand-Prix”.

About Mom’s Love Grand-Prix 2015 in the “FOODEX Gourmet Beauty Grand-Prix”
Held for the first time this year, Mom’s Love Grand-Prix is an official contest in FOODEX JAPAN, the largest food and beverage exhibition in all of Asia. FOODEX JAPAN showcases products from some 80 countries around the world and attracts about 75,000 buyers. The award ceremony was staged at the FOODEX JAPAN venue on March 3.
The judging panel was made up of about 20 women with children of elementary school age or lower who were members of “FOODEX Gourmet Beauty”, a group of women aged 20 – 49 who are highly food-conscious (including fashion models and show-business personalities as well as food coordinators and nutritionists). Children of the judges also took part in the judging to reflect the views of children themselves in the selection.
There were 83 entries by a total of 59 companies. Before making selections, the judges tasted and assessed each with reference to seven items including flavor, safety, nutritional value, and convenience.

It contains Japanese-grown vegetables (squash and spinach) whose umami was enhanced with our premium soy milk (the world’s first manufactured by the Ultra Soy Separation (USS) manufacturing method) and the power of enzymes. Mothers who are worried about whether their children are eating enough vegetables can make sure by putting this item on the table. The children will also have fun decorating slices of bread and crackers with it.
