Impact of the Explosions in Tianjin, China on the Fuji Oil Group

| The Fuji Oil Group wishes to express its heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the explosions that occurred in Tianjin, China, and we recognize that the group company TIANJIN FUJI PROTEIN CO., LTD. (hereinafter “Tianjin Fuji Protein”) may have caused some concerns. The current state of affairs regarding the impact of the explosions on Tianjin Fuji Protein is as follows. Circumstances as of August 14th, 2015 ● Location of Tianjin Fuji Protein Tianjin Fuji Protein is located at NO. 70, 13th Avenue Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, which is approximately 5km toward northwest from where the explosions occurred. ● Safety of employees The safety of all employees was confirmed by the morning of August 13th. ● Damage to plant Part of the plant has been affected by the shockwaves from the explosions, but no damage substantial enough to affect production was sustained. |
