Fuji Oil’s Kanto Plant Awarded the 2013 Food Sanitation Excellence Award from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare

Fuji Oil’s Kanto Plant (located in Kasama, Ibaraki prefecture) was awarded by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare for its superior food sanitation operations in 2013. This award is given to individuals who significantly contributed to promoting and improving food sanitation, cooperated with the government in food sanitation, and those that greatly contributed to the food industry as a whole, as well as facilities recognized as having an excellent standard of food sanitation.
The award commended the Kanto Plant’s efforts to maintain and improve the facility with constant attention to food sanitation in its manufacturing environment, as well as for the excellence health management of its employees.
