Donation to Recovery Efforts from Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines

We send our heartfelt condolences to those afflicted by Typhoon Haiyan in the central islands the Philippines.
Fuji Oil started the South Seas oils and fats business with palm oil and has embraced a close relationship with the Philippines for many years. Its subsidiary New Leyte Edible Oil Manufacturing Corporation has based its manufacturing plant in Tanawan, Leyte Island, since about 20 years ago and has been supported greatly by the local community over the course of those years.
In the hope to help the people who have supported the growth of our business, Fuji Oil is donating 20 million yen to the rescue and restoring efforts in the disaster-struck area.
All of us at Fuji Oil Group pray from our hearts for a haste recovery of the region.
