We have set the Vision in our Fuji Oil Group Management Philosophy to state that “Together with our stakeholders, we will co-create a sustainable future for food, based on plant-based ingredients that are both delicious and healthy.”

In recent years, the global economy has become unstable and various geopolitical risks have turned up, increasing the uncertainty around our group. In response to this changing environment, so that we at the Fuji Oil Group can overcome these issues and continue to grow, we took another look at how we can contribute to all our stakeholders that are society, our customers, and our shareholders, and included our strong ideals in our vision.

Food is diversifying in each country and region, and delicious and healthy is something that we need to consider when thinking about eating habits. Our group is taking on various food problems amid issues like insufficient food resources and environmental problems. We believe that expanding food options based on a variety of plant-based ingredients that are delicious, healthy and diversity inclusive is one of the ways our group can help with the resolution of societal issues and that this will tie in to making contributions to consumers and society the world over. However, these issues are not something that we can solve as a single company. Through initiatives with all members of our supply chain, and open innovation, we believe we can achieve value creation and acceleration that break barriers. We have set the Vision in our Fuji Oil Group Management Philosophy to state that “Together with our stakeholders, we will co-create a sustainable future for food, based on plant-based ingredients that are both delicious and healthy” as we move into the future with our sights set on the co-creation of value.

With the unyielding spirit of innovation we’ve held since our founding, we have always continued to create new value. While the regions and details of business our group companies operate in differ, I hope that each and every employee can share the same sense of values and come together as a One Team to work towards the growth of the group under the Fuji Oil Group Management Philosophy.
